Seeker AI Update

Issue-

Previously, the Seeker would patrol an area just like the basic enemy. The Seeker is supposed to stay in a designated spot and merely target the last sound it hears. The Seeker would also throw the knife before it even performed its animation and the knife would stay on its hand instead of disappearing and reappearing once the animation ended. Knifes would also stay active on the game no matter how many were present on the scene or how long they have been present on the scene.


Fixes-

The seeker can now correctly attack the latest source of noise it can hear. The actual knife throwing is now synced with the Seeker's animation and it disappears from the seeker's hand once it is actually thrown and later reappears once the animation is done. The knifes that the Seeker throws will also disappear once a certain amount of time has passed. Finally, if the player gets close enough to the Seeker, they will perform a slash instead of throwing a knife at the player.

  • Seeker AI
    • Attack State
      • Knife throw has been synced to the seeker's animation.
      • Angle at which the knife is thrown has also been adjusted.
    • Patrol State
      • The Seeker will not patrol an area anymore.

Later Updates will add-

  • More types of enemies
  • General updates to the Enemy AI and Seeker AI
  • Updated models and animations for all types of enemies
  • Knife throwing needs to be updated to allow the Seeker to change the knife's angle if there is an obstacle in front of the player
